Observation

Licensor Isis-Smith observed plastic bags under the sink in the bathroom. Licensor Isis-Smith observed protruding rusty screws and rusty wires on a mud kitchen on the playground. Upon walking through the laundry room Licensing Supervisor Eberhart noted that the washer and dryer were not locked. Licensing Supervisor Eberhart also noted that the in an emergency situation the children would be exiting out the back doors, past the washer and dryer, and past cleaning supplies, that were at child level also there was quite a lot of cardboard stacked very high off of the ground. Licensor Isis-Smith observed that the diaper changing pad in the toddler room had tears in the vinyl which might allow germs to be present, causing a hazard to children. Licensing Supervisor Eberhart noted that the water temperature in each sink was not the same temperature, some were very high, some were very low and others were the appropriate temperature. Licensor Isis-Smith observed that one outlet in the main bathroom has a standard outlet and it will need to be replaced with a tamper resistant outlet or covered with an appropriate outlet cover.
